Nigel Huckle is an award-winning Australian-American performer, currently starring as Chris in the international tour of Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Miss Saigon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u200bHis career spans five continents: as Tony in Opera Australia’s tour of\u00a0West Side Story<\/strong>; with the international touring company of Cameron Mackintosh’s production of\u00a0Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/strong>, which featured a run in the inaugural season of the illustrious Dubai Opera; and as a member of the Australian Platinum-selling group The Ten Tenors<\/strong>, having toured with them across the globe, including the United States, New Zealand, Germany, and Brazil. He can be heard on their 2019 studio album “Love Is in the Air”.<\/p>\n

\u200bHe has also appeared with other esteemed companies across the United States and Australia, starring as Fabrizio Naccarelli in\u00a0The Light in the Piazza<\/strong>\u00a0at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, a role for which he won a San Diego Theatre Critics’ Circle Award for “Outstanding Featured Performance in a Musical”.<\/p>\n

Other credits include Lt. Cable in\u00a0South Pacific<\/strong>\u00a0at the Tony Award\u00ae-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival and at Theatre Under the Stars in Houston, Jimmy in\u00a0Thoroughly Modern Millie<\/strong>\u00a0and Barnaby Tucker in\u00a0Hello, Dolly!<\/strong>, both with Australia’s The Production Company, and Nick in the Australian premiere of\u00a0The Handmaid’s Tale<\/strong>\u00a0with the Australian\u00a0Contemporary Opera Company.<\/p>\n
